Welcome

The old ways of caring for ourselves are still alive. They live in kitchen gardens and handwritten notebooks, in  bcups of herbal tea, and in the quiet moments when we stop long enough to notice the world around us.

Here on the Mani Peninsula of Greece, where rosemary grows wild on the hillsides and the seasons still shape daily life, those traditions live on. I’m Brenda, a herbalist and author. Mugwort and Meadow is where I share those practices: herbal remedies, seasonal recipes, thoughtful essays, and stories from a life shaped by nature.

Herbalism is a relationship that begins the moment you start paying attention.

Whether you’re taking your first steps into herbalism or have walked this path for years, I hope you’ll find something here that inspires you to look at the natural world with fresh eyes.

So pour yourself a cup of tea, settle in, and stay a while.
